Elizabeth Fulton is an animal communicator, author and healer. A former psychotherapist, she began working with animals as a Reiki healer and was one of the first people to offer Reiki professionally to animals. As Elizabeth healed animals, the animals gave her many gifts in return and helped her rediscover the ability to communicate with them she had enjoyed as a child. Currently she offers animal communication and flower essences to all species of animals and their human companions.
In addition to her animal communication practice, Elizabeth writes about animal communication and healing, understanding the nature and purpose of animals, the potential of our relationships with them, and how animals can be active partners with us in the healing process. She is the co-author of the book, Animal Reiki: Using Energy to Heal the Animals in Your Life, which explains some of what she has learned about healing animals within the context of the Reiki healing system.
Elizabeth is committed to giving a voice to all animals, including those who do not live as companions to people. She is a consultant for several sanctuaries and non-profit organizations oriented toward wild, exotic and endangered animals to support the important work they do in healing individual animals, holding a space for the survival of these remarkable beings, and strengthening our collective bond with them. She is currently at work on her next book, about communicating and healing in partnership with animals, especially wild animals.
Elizabeth is an amateur wildlife photographer and enjoys walking and meditating in nature. She lives with her husband, daughter, and animal companions in the San Francisco Bay Area.
